Keep making progress after rehab.
When physical therapy ends, the work of getting stronger doesn't. Tony helps you keep building knee and hip strength at home, following your provider's guidance.
Physical therapy ends. Progress shouldn't.
Formal physical therapy often ends once you can handle daily life again, but many people still want to get back to hiking, sports, gardening, or simply climbing stairs without thinking about it. That is where post-rehab training fits. Tony picks up where your rehab left off, using the guidance and restrictions from your provider, and helps you keep building strength and confidence.
Prehab works the other way around. If you have a knee or hip procedure coming up, or a demanding season ahead, focused strength and mobility work beforehand can help you prepare. Tony coordinates with whatever guidance your provider has given you.
Strength, control, and confidence.
- Hip and thigh strength. Stiff or achy knees often relate to weak hips and thighs, so much of the work happens above the knee.
- Controlled lowering. Sit-to-stands, step-downs, and squats done slowly to build control.
- Balance and single-leg work. Restoring steadiness on each side.
- Mobility. Working within your comfortable range and building from there.
- Return to activity. A gradual path back toward the things you want to do.
Start with the sit-to-stand for stronger knees, a simple exercise you can practice at home.
Three steps.
- Free phone consult. Book a free 15-minute phone consult. Tell Tony about your surgery or injury, where you are in recovery, and any restrictions from your provider.
- First-timer session, $50. A 1-hour assessment and training session at your home or apartment gym.
- Your plan. Sessions that progress steadily within your provider's guidance, with a short routine to practice between visits.
Tony is a personal trainer, not a physician or physical therapist. Check with your doctor before starting a new exercise program, and post-rehab training always follows your provider's guidance. Tony does not diagnose or treat injuries. If you are still in active treatment, check with your provider before starting.
